UK Carbon Code of Conduct

The UK Carbon Code of Conduct (UKCCC), is a carbon and nature credit issuance mechanism, built for farmers, around set of standards for land management that promotes investment in nature-based solutions to climate change and biodiversity loss.
The UKCCC takes a holistic approach and is built on four pillars:
- Assured Additionality
- Assured Permanence
- Avoidance of Leakage
- Avoidance of negative outcomes.
The UKCCC takes a pragmatic view, realising that the climate emergency requires an urgent response, whilst ensuring projects are backed by relevant scientific data and measurement of baselines and outcomes.
